Succot 2014

 Carmel
Hour and half from TLV.
Small fire, amazing weather, not too cold at night.  Just lounging around  un an full moon.

Small 'cabins' made from straw and wood only.  Each overlooking an amazing mountain top view.

Communal kitchen. Never seen such a well stocked, well 'designed' kitchen, open to the outside, Right at the entrance, just where it should be to any un-expecting new guest to this magical place.
Refreshing cool waters in the dry hot heat.  Over looking a panoramic horizon .

A place that knows how o relax.  Hammocks galore.  Truly a trap for lazy people.

Goats roaming freely around.

Our little place for too short a time.  Ours was 'deluxe' we had an outdoor 'bathroom' (sink)
Plus where the photo was taken was the small open fire.

Hard to say goodbye.  Momo forcibly 'helped' out of the heavenly pool.

Lutz Rosh Ha shana 20014

 Lutz - South

About 30 cars in all dotted around the area.  We shared the last shaded area with another family.  For Rosh haShana, if this is the busiest it would get.  Than not too bad.  Didn't feel at all the crowd.  Such open space.

Sunset walk.  Before the night skies opens out to reveal the cosmos and milky way!

A  cooling shade to protect us from the blinding light.  Cool air as it's so high. A real saving grace to our camp site.

Hammocks are a must.

beerotayim Rosh Ha shana 2014

 Beero
Finally arrived a gruelling 3 - 3. hour drive from Tel Aviv.
To be rewarded with a sunset enjoyed from one's own room with view.

Quick tour of the area and to enjoy sunset time up on the mountain.

Evening supper was delicious and communal in true style.

Much awaited dining hour in the comfortable dining area.  Food was fast and delicious.  Selection of salads, Rice and ground meat and lamb.  Fresh druze pitta bread.  Cold water.  Dessert. Coffe, Tea and baklava. .

Only lanterns allowed on the site.  Great rule to ensure maximum night sky experience.  So many stars,  vast milky way...

Cosy adobe like rooms, with log fire and two exits with hammocks  at both sides.

Constant tea, coffee and fire at all times.
