Masada

Next in the succot '09 trail was Masada! Finally we made it this year, and was no way disappointed. It was obvious we were going to see the light and sound show in the evening, which was just a stones throw from the campsite. This site is opened to the public only on national holdiays etc.,

Waiting not so patiently for the light and sound show, great anticipation, lots of buses and outsiders where filling the seats!

By not expecting anything, we certainly wasn't disappointed, fantastic show!
A highlight of the whole trip that's for sure!


Eylon found the best, last place infront of the valley with a cool breeze and luckily we found the tent was under the great shade of the masada during the morning, so no burning sun! Which meant we could enjoy a slow cook up of tea and of-course classic shashuka for breakfest!
